The 20th Hong Kong Butterfly Race and Photography Contest 2024 (Chinese Version Only)
The theme of the "20th Hong Kong Butterfly Race 2024" organized by the Environmental Protection Association's "Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve" is "Appreciate the Ecosystem, Protect the Habitat". The purpose of this event is to allow citizens to learn about butterflies, cultivate appreciation and care for our ecosystem, and thus awaken everyone's responsibility to conserve the ecological environment. The Butterfly Race has a "Best New-Observer" award to encourage more beginners to participate in the competition to learn about butterflies. This year, there is also a "Butterfly Detective Team" to allow parents and children to learn to cherish and conserve natural ecology through an interesting two-day parent-child experience activity.
All funds raised from the competition will be used for ecological conservation at the Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve, making a contribution to Hong Kong's ecological conservation and adding special significance to the competition.
